Dear USDA guys,
This is your page.

When I put this driveway in about twenty years ago, I purposely made it about 5 inches higher than the road just to make sure the road water wouldn't run down the driveway. It worked great until the township  decided to raise the whole road to the level of my drive about ten years ago, and again (even more) in 2018, just after my garage/house fire.  In the first two pictures, you can see the 2x4's I molly'd into the drive in an effort to channel some of the water off.

'The first and second picture shows the "river bed" from all the water that's been coming down the road (from the corner) then makes a right and flows above and below my concrete drive.  I've been put off by Tino's till next summer cuz this whole process has taken so long. Tino also said: "Eeef eet takesa dese long to get a approval, I really done' teenk I can'a trust' dem'a to pay me wan Im'a done!"

So, since I'm seeing damage compounding around here I decided I can't wait, I found, and I hired (as per your suggestion) another contractor, to do the drain work around the house (minus the street catch basin, and drain going THROUGH my property, and out the back as per Tino's proposal. cuz I was able to convince the township to do that for nothing)

I took out a loan for the non-refunable deposit to:

Ohio Basement Systems.   www.ohiobasementsystems.com/
8295 Darrow Road
Twinsburg, Oh 44087
(888) 590-3637
fax: (330) 425-1241

and that job is scheduled to be done on January 4th and 5th.  This "drain only" part of the job is just under $7,200. 00 which leaves me just over $10K to get that driveway and patio done which will probably be next year and cost more than what I'm going to have left of this loan. I'm still looking for someone to give me an estimate that I can lock in now, even if they can't do it till next year

You can see by the picture (with the red rectangle) where that catch basin and underground drain to the other side of the road (that the township's putting in) will go.

I counted seventeen new cracks in the drive and patio that weren't there last year (as well as some new ones in the basement floor)

Meanwhile, I've made two payments on a loan I've yet to have accessed, plus the payments coming up on my credit card for the deposit with nothing to show for it.

You can see that I've attached a PDF (above) containing the contract (including the $1,500.00 deposit

Please call me at (440) 564-5030 or my cell (440) 384-7113
